I was in Competition arena with my PvP character and meet some party. We killed 3 of them. The last one was warrior and we fough him for about 7 mins and couldn't kill him. The only skills he was using were Hundred Blades and Healing brezze. He block all of my attacks and his HP was above 90%. I made screenshot before I quit this 11 minute battle.

The only time this ever happened to me was with a group of my guildies. Were were in Team Arena and this group comes in. We quickly dispatch everyone but a warrior. He just wouldn't die. Finally I noticed that he had enchantments on him. After getting rid of the enchantments he went down quickly. He cussed at us and left. Apparently we broke his winning streak.

your sure he wasnt using stances... that would generally cause "blocks".

its probably a pure tank build.

/meh.

*and yup, the warrior is "enchanted" from the pic. mending perhaps...

This happened to me the other night and I wondered myself. They had at least 2 stances and a bunch of buffs from their monk.

I am still wondering though, seeing as others have encountered it.

strip enchantments and he will go down like a fly.

warriors maybe the easiest profession to beat. so many vulnerabilities.

He likely was using a stance (or several) to block and evade. And Hundred Blades with Vigorous Spirit or a 3/1 Vamp mod would keep his health high too.

stop is stances, put on degeneration, interrupt/drain/shatter his healing breeze, drain his energy,...?

you just got owned by the beta build style tank.

its so easy to counter.

enchant removal and wild blow if you got a war on your team with it.

their damage is so little compaired to other types of wars. they pose no threat in the real pvp aspect of the game. gvg and tombs.

They're probably just using some combo of health regen enchantments like Mending, Watchful Spirit, Vigorous Spirit, Healing hands and Live Vicariously with Bonettis for energy and another stance for Bonettis downtime. I ran similar builds to this occaisonally before enchantment stripping became popular, it's quite funny watching 4 other warriors attacking you and doing next to no damage. Any decent enchant removal will kill him in no time, and consider bringing wild blow, it's surprisingly useful in the random arenas.

I'm sure he didnt used stances, you can see what skills is you opponent doing and he was doing only two skills healing brezze and hundred blades

Like i said he didnt used stances and he didnt had vampiric mod on his weapon

I'm wondering how he got energy for hundred blades !!
my best guess is balthazar's aura

but how could he block all my attacks without a stance!!!

And i think he had 3 enchantments on i will try to get better picture

you cannot see the usage of stances

Actually, stances produce a graphic over the character and each has a different style, but you wont see the skill name next to the character name.

Stances don't appear on the skills monitor.

basically like i said aboce strip enchantments and he is toast. thre is not a secret to it.

debuff him and he dies in 10 seconds.

really pretty easy and nowhere near invincible.
